Module Six - Growth and Sustainability (OODA_002.006)

Description
Africa now more than ever needs to redefine "Ownership". While the intentions of State Ownership are not exactly bad, the motives by those who run them vary. We have to switch public to private ownership for some key industries if not just to keep a keen eye, as we have clearly seen that responsibility given to all is one given to none.

Governments in Africa already flirting with decentralization with the goal to reduce pressure on central governments. We can do more by having several enterprises in the hands of the private sector. This increases efficiency as well as public debt while increasing tax revenue. The more industries we have and as close to the local communities as possible, the better.

Note:

The course cannot be taken as a single unit, one needs 4 modules for Certification as Development Analyst and 6 modules for Certification as Development Architect in the field of Social and Economic Enterprise.
